waimanalo beachpark - very sad sights, it has become a homeless community due to increasing rent costs for tennants. most of these people have no other options but to do this. to give the state credit, they are at least attempting to work on this problem. start tellin a story our buddie just told us about his stolen car.

Triumph Bonneville T120R Setting the float levels
I get a miss fire at around 5000 rpm as the motor is running rich, I check the float heights, they are not done in the usual method of bending the tangs on floats. The floats are set and adjustment is acquired by repositioning the needle seat. This is a guide to setting the float level for an Amal 930 carburetor,with the standard settings near the end.
After doing the job she runs a hole lot sweeter! :-D

Winter motorcycle commute on my Triumph Bonneville
Trying a new helmet camera on my commute to work.
Kind of boring ride to and back from work, but wanted to try the camera position in the helmet and could not head to the forest.
Sorry for the sound guys, I just left the microphone hanging in the bag and the audio is horrible. I put some music on it.

Triumph Bonneville T120R 1969 main straight
Every now and then I like to dust off my old Bonnie racer and enter it in a more modern class at the local race track to give them a scare on the old bike. I'll post a few more racing clips. It has 11:1 pistons, a 2 into 1 exhaust, bigger carbs and is geared for 135 mph. Turn up the volume full taps and enjoy the sound.

carbs & starting Triumph Bonneville '73 T120R
a strip down of my 30yr old carbs there is wear but they still work (almost) she burns a bit of oil as the valve guides need doing.I have gas flowed the head and it has half race cams (no quietening ramps) most of the noise is carb induction with a fair bit of cam noise.

Triumph Motorcycle: 1972 Bonneville
Another example of classic British design. 1972 Triumph Bonneville, 650V. V stood for it being a 5speed and yes the shifter is on the right side rather than the left and yes it is kick start and yes it leaks oil and yes it's a love-hate relationship but that's what makes it so great!

Triumph Bonneville T100
This is a test run of the new Ram camera mount on my 2007 Triumph Bonneville T100. Wind noise is awful, I know. I need an external mic. Location is just local roads around north Raleigh. Camera is Canon ZR700. Music is "Gimme Danger" by Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
