1944 Indian Motorcycle riding in Iceland
In august 2007 I rode for 3 1/2 weeks with the "chief bluesmoke" Indian in Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Just a short video from the rough gravel roads of Icelands interior. These old bikes handle much better than people know. The rider sit on a wide seat with springs, so it's rather comfortable also.

THE INDIANS ARE COMING!
The 2009 Indian Chiefs were out at Indian Motorcycle Corona and Cook's Corner, in So. California the weekend of Aug 16/17, so I rode out there and checked them out. For those who couldn't make it, I put together this little video, so you could check them out for yourselves. Looks like the new Indian guys have hit a home run this time. Let's hope they run and ride as good as they look. Sorry more pics of everyone's bikes aren't there, but YouTube is limited to 10 mins per video.

A feisty young girl, Alisha Abdullah from Chennai, India, is one of the youngest females in motorsport in the country. She regularly races motorcycles. An awesome rider she is...you got yourself a fan lady!
We need more girls like her taking to racing bikes.

A girl rides a pulsar at a Petrol pump in the background during a song. Clip from the movie Munnabhai. Incidentally, its the only Hindi movie in recent times which shows girls on bikes. In the past (esp. late 70s/early '80s) it was much more common to see heroines riding bikes in movies. Hope those days return soon.

Indian Actress Meenakshi Sheshadri rides a Rajdoot/Yamaha RD350 in a song from the movie Shahenshaha. I love it when Indian actresses ride bikes in movies...sadly, that has been declining in the recent years. Would love to see the Indian beauties riding.
