14th – 17th of September, 2008: Four days of rainy weather, slippery ground and extreme hurdles. The Hardenduro-Rallye "Redbull Romaniacs" is one of the toughest tests for a motorcycle. We think it was the best place to show the power of the new BMW G 450 X enduro. The result: Gerhard Forster (Pro Class) and his G 450 X took second place. Don s New BMW Cycle (1103081601.3g2)
My new "Beemer", a BMW motorcycle that I bought from my cousin, Bill, in San Manuel, Arizona. It was a 470 mile ride, one-way, which was my first cycle ride in 17 years! So it really was an adventure, for which I feel about every ache-able part of my body!

Ruben Xaus on new BMW WSB project
MCN caught up with WSB start Ruben Xaus on the BMW stand at the NEC Motorcycle Show. The Spaniard flew in to unveil the all new S1000R hell be campaigning in next years World Superbike Championship.
Xaus has so far completed a two day test at Valencia alongside new team-mate Troy Corser and will get three more days in South Africa from 8th December to further develop the new bike.
