Laura's First Motorcycle Ride
This is the first time I've EVER been solo on a motorcycle. At the end, I said, "Well, I killed it, but I didn't lay it down." I had attempted stopping the bike earlier, but when the engine died, I lost balance, and couldn't keep the bike upright. Oops. Fortunately, no damage was done. This is a 1982 Kawasaki KZ550 Ltd.
The picture quality isn't the best, but the video was taken on my husband's phone, who is also the narrator.
Mom would be so proud... :)

Riding Motorcycle Around Marshall, Michigan, USA (1 of 9)
Riding my Honda Shadow 600 around Marshall. From apartment to near airport, including a few laps around the Marshall circle. Video quality isn't as good as possible because the camera view was through a dirty windscreen. Stops in apartment complex were brake check. Swerves on Michigan Ave. were to avoid manhole cover that I dislike. Driver on circle ahead of me was apparently lost and did 540 degrees of rotation.

Motorcycle Riding Marshall, Michigan, USA, Airport (2 of 9)
Riding my Honda Shadow 600 around the airport in Marshall, Michigan, USA. Camera view is through dirty windscreen, so video quality is suboptimal. Guest appearance by Tom B. and his experimental plane (and he probably didn't appreciate me riding under the wing). Notice the new paving job on the runway. I did a 3,500 foot runway numbers-to-numbers in 41 seconds, so I'll let you calculate the average speed and what the peak speed was likely to be.
