THE INDIANS ARE COMING!
The 2009 Indian Chiefs were out at Indian Motorcycle Corona and Cook's Corner, in So. California the weekend of Aug 16/17, so I rode out there and checked them out. For those who couldn't make it, I put together this little video, so you could check them out for yourselves. Looks like the new Indian guys have hit a home run this time. Let's hope they run and ride as good as they look. Sorry more pics of everyone's bikes aren't there, but YouTube is limited to 10 mins per video.

1944 Indian Motorcycle riding in Iceland
In august 2007 I rode for 3 1/2 weeks with the "chief bluesmoke" Indian in Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. Just a short video from the rough gravel roads of Icelands interior. These old bikes handle much better than people know. The rider sit on a wide seat with springs, so it's rather comfortable also.

Indian Motorcycle 2009 Unveiling Cook's Corner Part 2
Check out my 2001 Nieman Marcus Special Edition Chief. Only 75 of these were produced. I found this one in Colorado sitting in a garage with 1200 miles. Got lots of attention at the unveiling because I put out the Nieman Marcus 2001 xmas catalog for viewing. This bike was made just a few days after 9/11.

Indian Sidecar Unrestored Motorcycle "Rat"
Indian sidecar unrestored. Reloaded video without youtube music. The first 1922 model Chief had a 1000 cc (61ci) engine based on that of the Powerplus; a year later the engine was enlarged to 1200 cc (73ci). Numerous improvements were made over the years, including adoption of a front brake in 1928.
